Other uses of marbles

When one thinks of marbles you think a kids toy, well marbles have had other uses that just games. Ever wonder what makes that rattle when you shake a spray paint can, You guessed it, a marble. Metal spheres can rust and clog the nozzle so the likely use is a glass sphere. Oil rigs use marbles to clear clogs in pipes. It’s crazy to think of all the applications marble can do. Ball bearings are another form of spherical object based off the marble. Some of the things we take for granted or never even think about we owe to the marble for helping other functions in the industry to make the product we use and work with everyday.

More of the same info as before but this time I am going to change the image and vary the size. For the rest of this blog I am just going to paste in the blog above to fill up the page. It all began with one page, then another and another. As the site developed more information came to these pages and so a more developed site was created. I am just blabbering random babble to fill up this blog section with text so that it looks like it has something to look at. It is not much at the moment but at least it has some sorta content to keep the viewers eyes busy.

When I get the chance I will replace this filler text with more relevant information that will be of more interest. I will also pick a theme rather than some dummy text to fill in these pages. Now for your blogging entertainment here is a random image to let your eyes wander.

Marble Competitions have become a regular event among marble lovers all around. Tournaments are held at events for marble enthusiasts and attract all kinds of collectors wanting to show off their skills. Marbles have also become collectable and even worth money for those who have hand crafted ones. Marbles aren’t just for kids anymore as the hobby has turned into a valuable investment for those serious to have a collection. These events have many a different type of marbles for collectors to trade, buy and even play a few rounds with other marble players. I myself have been a big fan of marbles and hope this site brings more to the game.
